about me

Hello, I’m Mylee and I’m here to help you get the sleep you need and deserve!

Welcome to Little Big Dreamers! I am a Family Sleep Consultant and  Lactation Counsellor (CLC) and I help people solve their sleep struggles.  If you are struggling with your little one’s sleep or your own, I’m your girl!

I live in Adelaide, Australia and work with families in Australia and all over the globe. Some of the families I have worked with have lived in places like, USA, Canada,, England, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Tel Aviv…. to name just a few. I truly love how global working with families is!

The best piece of praise I have ever received from a family I’ve worked with was:

“I know a lot of people struggle with sleep, and truly, you have changed our lives. You cut my work day in half, literally. The 12 hours that he is sleeping now, I can use to feel like a person again …. We truly owe this to you, your teachings, your dedication, your compassion and all of the patience and hard work you’ve done for us. You have also given him such a gift. He really is thriving with more sleep, it’s so undeniable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

My bio.

Before having my first born (who is now 12), I worked as a Social Worker in areas like child protection, mental health, disability and in a children’s hospital helping sick kids and their families. After having him my priorities changed and I stayed home looking after him and 2 years later my second son. I have LOVED so much being a mom.  I know first hand what it is like to suffer from sleep deprivation because my own sleep wasn’t great and later because my baby wasn’t sleeping well. And I have learnt first hand how wonderful the gift of sleep is. Knowing this, it is my passion to be able to help families with this too.

When both my kids started school full time I started studying the Child Sleep Consultant certification through the   Family Sleep Institute.  After over 250 hours of training I became a certified child sleep consultant. Since then I have been constantly adding to my knowledge by studying Child Behavior, Peaceful Parenting, CBT for Insomnia and Adult Sleep.

Now I like to call myself a Family Sleep Consultant. Helping all family members across the life span get the sleep they need to thrive.

I am proud to say that I am also the Director of Continuing Education with the   Family Sleep Institute, where I received my certification and am also a Community Coordinator with the   International Association of Child Sleep Consultants.

My philosophy.

I work with each family to develop a truly personalized sleep plan that takes into account the family’s needs, wishes and sleep goals and their, or their child’s, personality. My approach is very holistic, drawing on all my different areas of knowledge, so you don’t need to feel like you only have one way to make sleep improvements. When working with children and teens, my child behavior expertise helps me factor in different issues that can be impacting sleep like power struggles, night fears and anxiety.

I also pride myself on the support I provide to each person or family that I work with. I am truly with them every step of the way – through emails, phone calls and text messages. No question or concern is too big or small. Each person I work with gets my whole heart because I want them to succeed, and feel safe and nurtured through the process.

Better sleep truly is possible with me as your guide.
