about me

Hello, I’m Mylee and I’m here to help your little one sleep!

Welcome to Little Big Dreamers! I am a certified pediatric sleep and behavior consultant and Lactation Counsellor (CLC) and I help parents solve their baby or child’s sleep challenges so that the entire family can feel well rested. My goal is to help as many parents bring joy back to their parenting moments as possible because the whole family is well rested. I live in New York City and work with families both in NYC but also all over the globe. Some of the families I have worked with have lived in places like Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Tel Aviv… to name just a few. I truly love how global working with families is!

The best piece of praise I have ever received from a family I’ve worked with was:

“I know a lot of people struggle with sleep, and truly, you have changed our lives. You cut my work day in half, literally. The 12 hours that he is sleeping now, I can use to feel like a person again …. We truly owe this to you, your teachings, your dedication, your compassion and all of the patience and hard work you’ve done for us. You have also given him such a gift. He really is thriving with more sleep, it’s so undeniable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

My bio.

Back home in Australia, I worked as a Social Worker in areas like child protection, mental health, disability and in a children’s hospital helping sick kids and their families. After having my first son my priorities changed and I stayed home looking after him and 2 years later my second son. I have LOVED so much being a mom.  I know first hand what it is like to suffer from sleep deprivation because my baby wasn’t sleeping well. And I have learnt first hand how wonderful the gift of sleep is.  Knowing this, it is my passion to be able to help families with this too.

With both my kids in school full time I started studying the Child Sleep Consultant certification through the   Family Sleep Institute.  After over 250 hours of training I became a certified child sleep consultant. After completing this I found myself constantly searching for child behavior and child development books and learning all I could, so that I could enhance my sleep knowledge to truly help and empower the families I work with. I jumped at the chance to become a certified Child Behavior Consultant through   The Early Years.  Now I get to help families all over the world with their sleep challenges as a certified Child Sleep and Behavior Consultant! There is truly nothing better.

Being a Child Sleep and Behavior Consultant has truly been a wonderful journey. I now have 5 years of experience and more well rested families under my belt than I can count.

Now I am proud to say that I am also the Director of Continuing Education with the   Family Sleep Institute, where I received my certification and am also a Community Coordinator with the   International Association of Child Sleep Consultants.

My philosophy.

I work with each family to develop a truly personalized sleep plan that takes into account the family’s needs, their child’s personality and their wishes and sleep goals. I have expert knowledge in many different sleep training methods, so families don’t need to feel like they have only one sleep training method to choose from. I also pride myself on the support I provide to parents through the sleep training process. I am truly with them every step of the way through emails, phone calls and text messages. No question or concern is too big or small. Each family I work with gets my whole heart because I want them to succeed.

I offer sleep solutions for all different ages from newborns, babies, toddlers and even elementary school kids to develop healthy sleep habits.

Better sleep truly is possible with me as your guide.
